The purpose of this course is to provide the student with a fundamental overview of the injection molding process and the equipment used within the industry.  Demonstrations will be included in this classroom setting. 

Course highlights include:
  • Introduction to injection molding, injection molding machine, and processes
  • Reviewing material classifications and properties
  • Handling machine equipment (blending and drying)
  • Analyzing tooling considerations
  • Setting molds
  • Using supporting equipment
  • Handling parts processes
Notes: There is no prerequisite for this class. The handout material and a certificate of completion are included with the course fee.
