Are you ready to take the mystery out of GD&T? Developed as a common language between engineers and machinists with the intention of simplifying and making uniform drawing controls, GD&T has become the standard for most manufacturers. This course is a great way for engineers, designers, technicians, process personnel, gage operators, or anyone else involved with the interpretation of drawings to learn geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Students are encouraged to bring examples of drawings for which they have questions regarding GD&T.

Course highlights include
  • Learning the symbols associated with GD&T
  • Feature control frames
  • Orientation tolerances
  • Regardless of feature size
  • Understand proper Datum usage
  • Form and profile tolerances
  • Print reading exercises
  • Location tolerances
  • Maximum/Least material condition
