Trine's 1-day introduction to FOUNDATION fieldbus (FF-100) will give attendees (engineers, managers, supervisors) a basic understanding of FOUNDATION fieldbus technology: what it is, how it works, where to use it, and why it is an important plant automation choice.

Hands on demonstration of an integrated automation solution and case studies demonstrating the economics of this innovative technology in a variety of industries will prepare participants to not only understand how touse FOUNDATION Fieldbus in their facility but also how to start the process of implementing a digital control technology project on their next automation project.

Course highlights include:

• Understand the differences between FOUNDATION fieldbus and analog control systems
• Familiarity and FOUNDATION fieldbus communications
• Gain knowledge of the various components of the Fieldbus Physical (wiring) and User (Fonction Blocks) Layer
• Comprehend the economic incentives for using digital communications protocols
